Google reconsidering its relationship with China after targeted attacks
The real war against freedom is not in the Middle East but in China. As a result of experiencing a highly sophisticated cyber attack from China in December that targeted the Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists, Google is re-evaluating its position in China.
This is big not because of Google’s market-share in China (a low 29% compared with Chinese-run Baidu’s 77%) but because it shows a company actually standing up to China and choosing morality over profits.
